During spring 2005 we undertook several field trips to the Rožná uranium mine, Krásno (Central Erzgebirge), and Cínovec/Altenberg Sn – W deposit (Germany) lead by Prof M. Štemprok.

During 2004-2005 we undertook several field trips to the Krupka mine, the Gorleben salt mine in Niedersachsen, Wieliczka district and Zloty Stock deposit in Poland, and Rožná uranium mine.

During 2002-2003 we undertook field trips to the Central Erzgebirge (Sn-W, Ag-deposits), German part of the chapter visited a few times Czech Republic and there also were arranged field trips to the Příbram and Kutná Hora districts, including St. Barbara celebration at Charles University.
