This adit was discovered in 1967 during a hydrogeological survey and the length of its accessible part is about 280 metres.<br \/>\n<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Quarry Pr\u00e1chovna<\/span> &#8211; A new outdoor geological exposition was opened in August 2014 in the former quarry Pr\u00e1chovna. In this exposition are&nbsp;used a&nbsp;blocks of rocks from Kutn\u00e1 Hora area, Kol\u00edn and Chrudim with&nbsp;thematically structured panels.<\/p>\n<p class=\"alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/sga.cuni.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/P1260547.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-980 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/sga.cuni.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/P1260547-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"P1260547\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sga.cuni.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/P1260547-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/sga.cuni.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/P1260547-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/sga.cuni.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/P1260547-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/sga.cuni.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/P1260547-200x150.jpg 200w, https:\/\/sga.cuni.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/P1260547-150x112.jpg 150w, https:\/\/sga.cuni.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/P1260547.jpg 1155w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">The slag heaps<\/span> &#8211; were deposited in the immediate vicinity of the silver smelter. The ironworks in the Vrchlice Valley were in operation&nbsp;from the 15th century until the end of the 18th century. This despite of the partialy flattened&nbsp;heaps, containing an estimated 400,000 tons of slag, are witnesses of the vast range of medieval metallurgical activity in the area.<br \/>\n<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">The St. Anton\u00edn Padu\u00e1nsk\u00fd<\/span> &#8211; is one of the most important mineralogical sites of the Kutn\u00e1 Hora region. The work followed a vein with a high content of antimony and silver ores.&nbsp;In the adit and in the dump we can get to know&nbsp;not only with typical veined minerals, but also with some luck we find rare silver ores. Our findings: berthierite, kutnohorite, pyrite, cave pearls.<br \/>\n<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">The site of the former RD Kutn\u00e1 Hora establishment<\/span> &#8211; here is the Turka\u0148k mine, which draws the mined water treated in the built-up cleaner for user quality. A large basin in the southern part of the Turka\u0148k zone was created by the mines collapse in 1969. In the eastern wall of the basin is a&nbsp;gallery of an old mine about 100 m long. This old gallery belongs to the oldest phase of Kutn\u00e1 Hora mining.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/sga.cuni.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/P1260624.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-981\" src=\"http:\/\/sga.cuni.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/P1260624-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"P1260624\" width=\"211\" height=\"158\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sga.cuni.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/P1260624-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/sga.cuni.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/P1260624-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/sga.cuni.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/P1260624-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/sga.cuni.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/P1260624-200x150.jpg 200w, https:\/\/sga.cuni.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/P1260624-150x112.jpg 150w, https:\/\/sga.cuni.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/P1260624.jpg 1155w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 211px) 100vw, 211px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Old heaps after mining of ores in the village of Ka\u0148k<\/span> &#8211; This dumps are an interesting occurrence of rare arsenic minerals. For the last two years, heaps have been involved in many pitfalls because they have been exposed to erosion or by targeting of the collectors. Hopefully, due to the timely intervention of the experts which was made, there will be no complete disposal of the heaps, as was previously thought. Our Findings: bukovskite, ka\u0148kite.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Second day:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/sga.cuni.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/P1260684.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-982 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/sga.cuni.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/P1260684-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"P1260684\" width=\"211\" height=\"158\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sga.cuni.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/P1260684-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/sga.cuni.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/P1260684-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/sga.cuni.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/P1260684-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/sga.cuni.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/P1260684-200x150.jpg 200w, https:\/\/sga.cuni.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/P1260684-150x112.jpg 150w, https:\/\/sga.cuni.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/P1260684.jpg 1155w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 211px) 100vw, 211px\" \/><\/a>Male\u0161ov<\/span> &#8211; a magnetite rich rock deposit opened by deep mines. Our findings: magnetite, garnet, pyroxene, amphibole,&nbsp;prehnite, calcite, epidote.<br \/>\n<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Markovice<\/span> &#8211; active amphibolite quarry near \u010c\u00e1slav. Known occurrences of alpine type&nbsp;minerals. Our Findings: prehnite, titanite, albite, calcite.<br \/>\n<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Ko\u017el\u00ed near Lede\u010d nad S\u00e1zavou<\/span> &#8211; a small&nbsp;fluorite deposit with a high content of quartz. Our findings: fluorite, quartz.<\/p>\n<p>Fourteen&nbsp;Chapter members participated on this excursion led by <em>Mgr.
