(Erzgebirge)- M\u011bd\u011bnec and M\u00fdtinka location"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The metamorphic complexes of the northwestern Bohemian Massif host several mineralization styles that span stratiform base-metal deposits, stratabound skarn mineralization as well as low-temperature hydrothermal veins.<br \/>\n<strong>During the second trip in 2012<\/strong>, our\u00a0chapter visited several examples of these mineralization styles, exposed mainly in historical mines.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">The M\u011bdn\u00edk deposit near the village M\u011bd\u011bnec<\/span>: calcic-ferroan skarn with stratabound sulfide mineralization, produced silver, copper and iron since medieval times. We also visited a Zem\u011b zasl\u00edben\u00e1 mine of this mineralization in M\u011bd\u011bnec.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">M\u00fdtinka location<\/span>:\u00a0about 4 km SW of M\u011bd\u011bnec;\u00a0a complicated fold structure containing migmatites, orthogneisses and mica schists intensely fractured and filled with quartz gangue.
